In the early 1990s, an orchardist discovered a new kind of apple growing in his Minnesota Honeycrisp orchard. With a little detective work, he determined that local bees had taken the pollen from an unknown tree nearby and cross-pollenated it with Honeycrisp blossoms. The SugarBee® was born!
