The faction lying opposite to the Guardians is a force of Faeries and vampires, led by the exiled Fae prince, Levin, longing to return to his own realm, an eccentric pirate turned vampire named Jacques, and his ancient and ever mysterious master, seeking to return the world to a state where mythical creatures need not hide for fear of persecution at the hands of humans. The first in a new series that will see Linx Spencer joining forces with mystical beings from both his mother's past and his own chaotic present to face down an enemy much of the world never thought existed in the first place.
