A bus driver by day, Mr Finch is a widely-read poet with a many influences apparent in this collection of his work. Born in the lowlands of Scotland of Irish/English parentage, he is influenced by the greats: Brain Boru, Chaucer, and MacDiarmind. The themes of his poems are drawn from the varied careers he has pursued in the past and from his strong Christian beliefs, and a deep sense of history is evident.
