Melody and Nick are the perfect bi-racial couple: she's human, and he's a werewolf. They've been dating for a few years and things are getting serious -- so serious, that Nick is ready to settle down. He even offers to give Melody the gift of his blood so she can become a werewolf like him, which will allow her to age at the same rate as he does so they can share a long and happy life together. But Melody isn't ready to take that step, and Nick must accept her decision. When tragedy strikes, Nick is faced with losing Melody. He promises to stay with her for as long as possible, at any cost.
