Tom was living the typical middle-class life in America, till one day, by chance, things turned for the worse. Now broke and struggling to make ends meet, Tom is offered a CFO job at a company run by Rex, a merciless man, who has a knack for destroying other people in his pursuit of illicit wealth.
Framed for theft and drug trafficking, Tom finds himself hunted and stranded in the Dominican Republic, being used as a ploy, by Rex, who is trying to deflect investigations into his companies by the Dominican government.
Fransua, a savvy kid, living on and working the streets of the Dominican, and Charles, an American cybercriminal on the run, are drawn in and befriend Tom.
In his quest, Tom lures in a U.S. Drug Enforcement Agent who unwittingly helps him; and with the aid of a Dominican Catholic Bishop, retribution may be within Tom's reach.
Due to a rare medical condition, Tom is facing a time constraint—either escape from the Dominican or die in the Dominican. Vengeance becomes Tom's dilemma. Should he risk his life to avenge Rex or take his first opportunity to exit the Dominican?
