THE PIXIES was a five-issue series published by Magazine Enterprises starting in 1946. For
the sixth and final issue the title was changed to THE MIGHTY ATOM AND THE PIXIES.
The Pixies are a group of sprites that live out in the town of Pixerary. Being very small they are
often targeted by various insects, rival bands of pixies, birds, beasts and the elements. Luckily
they have a superhero in their midst, the Might Atom. When the Pixies need help, Pete Pixie
says the magic words "Pick a peck of pixies!" and is magically transformed into the Mighty
Atom.
This is a fun, family friendly series with a cartoon art style that anyone can enjoy.
