The Elder Gods had fought a dreadful war many eons in the past. In time, the victorious faction had banished from the mystical land of Maa those who would have enslaved the inhabitants. Fairies and Elves whom were the most numerous, live in peace for many years after... until... a terrible discovery became clear. The evil elder gods, were still upon the land of Maa. A powerful Elder magic in The Valley of Dragons could help the Elves defeat the evil elder gods, but the Elves had been forbidden on penalty of death from entering. A summons was made, to the powerful magic in the land a Maa. Some one other than Elf was needed. Some one who could enter The Valley of Dragons. Some one who could access the magic in the valley. Some one who could become powerful enough to battle the... daemons. The dragon's blood was a light which flared down the length of my veins, quick, blinding, a white fury which engulfed everything in a moments time. Working itself this way and that, the magic of the waters twisted violently against the pull of something invisible, something that threatened to tear me apart. The intensity of the struggle grew, and I felt the essence of my consciousness stretched beyond its limit. Stripped of my old self, I was entangled in powerful energies my mind could not understand, and thoughts impossible for me to harness. Abilities which my mind had never entertained. The intense power of these new strengths invaded my thoughts with unparalleled, mind-boggling possibilities. The powerful energies raged within me like fire unchecked. In the midst of such raging storm, a thought was born; it would not be quenched, and it took unto itself power and profundity. I assembled the words and gave them shape and form, images which matched the intensity of the magics within me... I have been summoned...A fire was kindled. A purpose steadfast and eager. A flame, becoming a furnace, fiercer with time. My thoughts gathered form, strength and solidity; I was the one who had been summoned and there was a purpose for this summons.
