hits have been digitally enhanced, which is a fancy phrase for re-recorded. It's possible that the original vocal tracks were kept, but the instrumentation lacks the compressed power and focus of the original single versions. Turning up the drums might make it easier for folks on the dancefloor at the local disco club but it doesn't necessarily make it an improved record. ~ Steve Leggett
