A young boy and his enchanted horse set out for a strange and wondrous land where he encounters many magical people, among them three golden-haired nymphs and the Emperor's imperial gardener. The gardener take shim in and teaches the boy how to plant flower seeds, transplant the young flowers, and care for them. Attempting to find a place in this new world, the boy becomes the gardener's apprentice and manages to capture the heart of the Emperor's youngest daughter.
