On the outside Freak House is an old farm house, but on the inside it's so much more. It's ancient and magical and it's home to a family of all different sorts of magical creatures with all sorts of magical problems. Where to change on the full moon? With Dad's pack or the cute boy you met at the park? How do you pass the medium magic test when you aren't all that gifted? How do you fall in love knowing you're immortal and they're not?
Everyone has their own issues, things they have to go through. Sometimes you have to go it alone, but family and a place to gather certainly help.
