Peter Bloss is tunnel-focused on becoming president. He knows he needs help to get there and engages a team to assist. But he has no idea who is pulling the strings behind his team. They have much larger and more sinister motives than making him president.
The United States' democracy has survived for over 200 years. But what if someone or some group with a thirst for power and distaste for democracy made it their life's work to seize control of the government? What if they could find a pawn whose desire to become the President of the United States was so strong, he did not care how he got there? Would the US Constitution, so brilliantly crafted by our founding fathers, protect us from such a plot? And could someone devise a strategy to wire around the checks and balances built into the Constitution that are designed to prevent this from happening?
Are there signs that a plot like this is already underway?
