With most of the police force of Upland, Arizona out of town conman Burdick and his gang--Janet, his Navajo girlfriend; Rubin a burglar "extraordinaire" who lives with his mother; Carlos a car thief; Glover a loner living off government aid; and Doc, retired from Northern Arizona University and bored--bungle their way to a possible two hundred-thousand-dollar cash booty hidden in a very strange place. They set up camp in a dilapidated barn where they confront and contend with Obama (a very large rooster) and his hens (the Dixie Chicks).
