August 31 2019, was just like any other morning for Logan and the rest of the regulars in Henry's Diner. It wasn't till the broadcast warned them to "STAY AWAY FROM THE LAUGHTER", cut off, and the power went out that everything changed. As their small town erupts in chaos, they must band together, and head to a bunker in the mountains. There they encounter the first of the creatures, laughing and cackling as its jaws split open like mandibles. Blood spilling from its throat as it chuckled. They were surrounded by laughter....and the world they knew was gone.
