Kozel Danko is an average twelve-year-old boy living with his family in Prague the Czech Republic. He has been discovered by his music teacher to have extraordinary musical talent. He has been playing the piano since the age of five. Now that he is in the sixth grade he is eligible to play in the band and orchestra. He is asked by his music teacher if he would like to learn how to conduct and he accepts. Kozel is asked to try and conduct the school orchestra. He tries and succeeds. He is asked to conduct the orchestra in concert. He is to conduct a very difficult selection. He is once again successful. He conducts another difficult piece of music at the school's spring concert and is seen by the director and conductor of the Czech National Symphony Orchestra. He is invited to conduct the symphony orchestra in concert. Follow Kozel as he tries to be successful as a serious student and professional conductor.
