Elizabeth Martin is proud of her boys as she watches them march off to war against the British in early America. The British have become more and more abrasive to the colonists and its hard for everyday people to just get by without being harassed by the British soldiers that seem to be everywhere as of late. It is not safe time in this time and place in the world to show where your loyalties truly lie. Mrs Martin is not one who is easily dissuaded in her beliefs and loyalties. Little does she know how important her actions and the actions of her daughters-in-law will be to change the tide of the Revolutionary War against the greatest nation on earth.
