Mattie Branson, daughter of Dan and Jessie Branson, has left the Triple Peaks Ranch of Central Oregon.
Following her graduation from the Multnomah University in Portland, Oregon, she joins the staff of Transamerica Ministries.
Mattie meets Brad Briggs, a pilot for a Florida Charter Service. Shortly thereafter, the two discover that the Lord has put them together as soul mates. They fall deeply into committed, love and are married.
The two are called to serve the Lord, by coming to the aid of the oppressed, village people, of Colombia’s Santa Marta Mountains.
A Christian, multi-millionaire, provides Brad and Mattie with an aircraft, uniquely designed to operate from small unimproved mountain airstrips.
Wanting only to serve the people, Brad and Mattie are faced with numerous challenges.
Upon their arrival in the mountains of Colombia, they are confronted by both leftist guerilla forces as well as the parliamentary armed forces. The two armies have been at war for over forty years.
Firmly committed to presenting the gospel, they are faced with natives whose beliefs are deeply imbedded into centuries of idolatry. Ultimately they are aided by the unexpected appearance of one of God’s messengers.
This continuing saga of the Branson Family is filled with spell binding adventure, danger and intrigue.
