Donny and Marie were conspicuously absent during Susan's trips from 1993 to 1995, depicted in this volume. But the story involves dozens of Osmonds. Much of the beloved family was present in Branson Missouri as the Osmond Brothers and their children performed at the warm and friendly Osmond Family Theater, purchased by younger brother Jimmy Osmond in the early 1990s. This story brings the Osmond family to life and acquaints the reader with both Branson and the Osmond family.
The Branson years was a time when the Osmonds settled in this Midwest entertainment town and no longer went on the road. During these years, it was the fans who went on the road! Susan traveled to Branson an average of twice a year, and brought her children to see the singing family she loved, as did a few of Susan's Osmond-fan friends.
