As Senator Stevens and his family. His wife, daughter, son and baby started their evening meal, it was a pleasant evening so the door was left open to allow air in, but instead the house was invaded by three criminals lead by a man called Paul Grant a (vicious killer), the three men invaded the house to get the payroll the Senator had in his safe, when they were stopped from getting their way these criminals killed the whole family including the baby.
The massacre was found the next morning, the sheriff was called organized a posse and a tracker and set off to try to catch the three men but lost the sign and therefore had to give up the chase, the sheriff knew these men had to be brought to justice, as a last resort the sheriff rode out to the Lone Star Ranch headquarters of the Texas Rangers, he told his long time friend the commander of the Texas Rangers, who at once dispatched a Ranger to capture or kill these evil men.
