Buckler, Cytex, and Hoverbird have completed their first mission, but their work on behalf of the Master has just begun. A dangerous criminal mastermind is on the loose in the galaxy, and their new assignment is to track him down.
The clues they have about this man point to the newly colonized Neuhause System. Little is known about the settlements there, and the planet is shrouded in mystery.
As the team approaches the planet, disaster strikes. Alone, and in unknown and hostile territory, the Secret Shepherds will now face a disturbing question. Are they the hunters, or the hunted?
