Carlos Pena loves baseball, Nolan Ryan, the Texas Rangers and solving mysteries. At the beginning of summer vacation, Carlos meets Maggie, his new neighbor, who is dog-sitting for a friend. When this prize show dog disappears, Carlos offers to help Maggie find the animal before its owner returns. But will he be able to find the dog before it's too late?
