THE STONEBEARER is an an epic fantasy adventure novel, the first of a seven book series. Three strangers: a mysterious boy king, a philandering prince, and a doddering old wizard brought out of retirement, all suddenly bound together by fate... Get ready for an epic adventure! Across fantastic lands filled with creatures beyond imagination, the crew of the skyship Stardeer flee a militant army bent on stopping them before they can reach the magical Stone of Utter Destruction. It all begins when Gaebryl Dindiane, the Prince of Bursia, discovers a crashed skycraft one fateful morning. He rescues the sole survivor, an aristocratic and mysterious young man, from certain death. From that moment on, Gaebryl's life changes forever.. Not only are two of the continent's most notorious assassins after them, but an entire army, and other dark and insidious creatures, as well. Gaebryl must use all his skills to remain one step ahead of them as he and the boy flee back to civilization and safety. After enlisting the aid of a few brave and unique characters, they soon find themselves fleeing in mortal danger once again. The boy soon reveals his true identity, a family name shrouded in legend and myth. A seemingly impossible quest begins to take shape, pitting this small crew against countless enemies advancing upon them from all sides. Far across the land, hidden some elusive cave, lies a magical Stone, a relic of the boy's legendary ancestors, the only hope for a land of kingdoms virtually powerless against the dark militant tide rising up against it. For with this Stone, supposedly, comes the absolute power of Destruction by Thought to the bearer who wields it. Gaebryl suspects this boy holds more secrets than he is willing to share, and every day seems to bring about a new discovery about this troubled lad...Gaebryl alone suspects that this boy is not who, or even what he says he is......The Stonebearer. The Stonebearer was first published by Royal Fireworks Press in 1995, but publishing rights were recently retained by the author. The book has been updated, rewritten, reformatted, and published as an eBook under his own publishing company, creating a better continuity with the following six books in the series.
