"The Three Stooges are at it again in their latest DVD collection The Three Stooges: GI Stooge. Each of these shorts are presented in their original black and white 1.33:1 full frame aspect ratio and sport a fair amount of dirt and grain. While imperfections abound (due to the age of the shorts), overall this is the best the films will ever look which should make every Stooge fan happy. The sound is presented in Dolby Digital Mono in English and Spanish. While the sound mix on this disc certainly won't overwhelm fans, generally they are clear and concise with only a mild amount of hiss in the mix. Also included on this disc are English, French and Spanish subtitles. Sadly, fans don't have anything to look forward to when it comes to special features -- The Three Stooges: GI Stooge is a completely bare bones disc."
