As with the other etude books I have written,
this set was borne out of request. When I asked what was needed in a 'different' set of etudes,
the number one response was 'more melody'.
I hope this request was fulfulled in this multistyled,
multi-leveled collection of studies.
Since I wanted this set to be accessible to every player, I set the range to the 'cash register' of the instrument, to allow more focus on line.
