Founded in 1979, Elephants Delicatessen in Portland, Oregon, pioneered the gourmet food market with its made-from-scratch entrées prepared with local ingredients. This collection includes three of its most popular entrées – two with meat and one vegetarian. Just bake until bubbly for a simple, satisfying meal. The entrees are an easy, delicious option for working families and a thoughtful gift for anyone too busy to shop and cook.
Lasagna Bolognese: Hearty marinara sauce made from fresh tomatoes, grilled pork and Angus beef, fennel and porcini mushrooms, layered with tender lasagna noodles and mozzarella, Asiago, provolone and Romano cheeses, and topped with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
Mac n Cheese: Cavatappi pasta enrobed in a cheddar cheese sauce with caramelized onion, a dash of Tabasco and Pickapeppa sauces for a touch of heat, and a hint of Dijon mustard..
Chicken Enchilada Verde: Tender chicken breasts smothered in a bright salsa verde with cilantro and cumin, sprinkled with a layer of cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses.
