TIDE: Black and White Majic
Cloak's adventure continues, but as the truth slowly surfaces the lies only get deeper. He has chosen his cresting name and like his birthing name, it is a name with meaning: relentless, ever present and ever changing, a name associated directly with the Goddess Mother of the Moon... he is Cloak Tide, the lost son of the crested folk, a prince and heir to the throne.
Having spent sixty years of his life frozen in time as a babe, Cloak is now sixteen. He has fled his home, escaped capture and now travels across the wilds with Needle Cliff, the king's wish walker. Although his crest remains only part-formed he has already demonstrated the power of his wish majic, slaying the warrior captain Goose Beam with a single stroke of his guardian father's sword. For now, Cloak remains a fleeting figure in the mists of time, his location and impact on the world evading the tellers and the seers... but will this last?
Since his cresting, his life has been turned upside down. Now, his already twisted path is about to grow even more crooked as he and Master Cliff, make the long journey to the dead city of Thankless Bastion, a city where both master and prentice hope the white majic that flows through the ancient underground temple will come to their aid... but all does not go to plan.
