Leaving college in a blaze of glory, sick of being compared to his military brothers, and always feeling like an outcast, sent JR Avery to Copper Beach, Fla to play hockey for his high school coach. Coach Daniels lined up what his favorite player needed to succeed, if he could just get him to the sunshine state and signed with the Barracudas. JR wasn't sure what he would find when he headed south, but falling in love with a mermaid never made it close to his list.
