For children who have trouble falling asleep
. Starting as a normal bedtime story, follow Glow as she travels off to sleep amongst the clouds and through each layer of the Earth's atmosphere.
Carry on
reading through the science and into nonsense land
. Here, your child can listen to your voice without trying to make sense of the words and gently drift off to sleep.
I wrote this book to help my 7 year old fall alseep and
it worked!
I found I needed something to read to her that used some words she didn't know or understand so she could listen to my voice without listenening too much to the story. So the further into the story, the more scientific words are used and eventually into words that don't make sense when read together. This is so they can hear your voice but not be kept awake byt the story.
This book has been tested on over 20 children between 2 and 8 who all fell
asleep either before the end of the book or within a few minutes.
