Young Corey was honorable, yet humble in his demeanor. Growing up on the mean streets of Brooklyn taught him that if you walked in darkness you will stumble, and sometimes fall; and the forces of darkness always have evil intentions. His exemplary skills in martial arts gave him confidence, but he quickly learned that was not good enough to withstand or defeat his enemies. His enemies were not natural, and a reprogramming of his mind had to take place, and the fight would have to be on a new battlefield. As Corey struggled to survive the mean streets of Brooklyn, his relationship with the love of his life suffered; and often times the pressures seemed unbearable.
