Most teenage boys have secrets. Jack Alden's is the fact that he can see ghosts. Since childhood, Jack saw kind, friendly spirits who hung around because they were lonely. That was until he was seven and something evil latched onto him. Dormant with only slight jump scares through the years, this spirit lurks, weakening Jack's will.
A gruesome attack sends his family and friends reeling, believing he harmed himself, despite his pleas for someone to hear him. Once eighteen, Jack takes a trip with his friends, the entity still following him, waiting, but for what Jack doesn't know. Lies start to form, his parents, friends and even therapist believing he is no longer seeing this spirit. He needs to find a way to get rid of what's following him once and for all, but can he do it without anyone finding out the truth?
