In the late 1960s and early 70s psychedelia and hippiedom were still prevalent. I worked at Recorded Sound Studios near Marble Arch in those primordial days. Artists that came in included Atomic Rooster, Twink, Clark Hutchinson, Andwella's Dream, Robin Gibb, and the Cucumber Castle version of the Bee Gees. These talents brought color to music that many others could not create. There were also unknown or obscure artists that later became hitmakers - The Sweet and Genesis for instance - but so many more came in to record but were never to find fame.In the late 1960s and early 70s psychedelia and hippiedom were still prevalent.
