Awaiting its demolition, Val-d'Or's Chateau Inn bar tells the real-life stories of the people who frequented it: • A British war bride who can't find her footing in the rough 1940s boomtown; • An affable drug kingpin who rides the 1980s cocaine boom until his death at the hands of the Hells Angels; and • A 1990s rebellious teenager who finds a second home at the Chateau.
