Megan is nervous about walking home from school, alone for the first time. She meets a purple chicken who walks with her. As they are walking he tells her a story, about a chicken who got lost. When his story is over, she is by her house. Mom comes to greet her and she tries to tell her about the chicken. But when she turns to thank him the only thing remaining is one purple feather.
