Sometimes we forget that being different is what makes us unique. I wrote this book because my daughter Olivia recently had seizures, and we had not seen an outsider about her autism. Then, she started using her own language, and that got me thinking about how sometimes kids see a kid who is different. They bully the kid for whatever makes them different, whether it is their hair, religion, disability, or even their ethnicity. This story shows kids that it is good to be different, and they should embrace it.
