A girl living in unfortunate circumstances in the 1940's finds spiritual faith in this religious drama. Dealing with a reckless older sibling and an absent mother, Rose (Nicole Mauck) finds God, a discovery that enhances her life but leads her to ponder why there is still such suffering on Earth.
