Synergism, the interaction of man with God and nature, is an essential key to the anthropotechnics and transformation aesthetics of the Slavia Orthodoxa. Visions of the synergos both link and separate Christian and secular utopian projects; they do not seamlessly merge into concepts the New Man engendered by Soviet biopolitics. Against the background of the epistemic synthesis about 1900, the book examines the discourse of synergy in philosophy, science, literature and art as a foundation of modern culture of knowledge.
