Within the confines of the institution, individuals who suffer from species identity disorder submit to experimental treatments that seek to cure them of their animalistic associations. At his family's insistence, Jacob (George MacKay), who believes himself a wolf, agrees to check into the institution. Yet a chance encounter with Wildcat (Lily-Rose Depp) solidifies Jacob's doubt as he struggles to sacrifice his genuine connection to the enigmatic woman.
