Wrestling the Bear, Jeanne Sirotkin's debut short story collection, grips and titillates in ways that I find both rare and lovely, the lure of each story a kind of slantwise-and wise-odd and offbeat look at the world in all of its great sadness and folly. Bravo. And bravo again!
