Chase Michaels became a school nurse on a whim - nothing more, nothing less. And the same applied to choosing where to work. He decided on Junpei High due to a fleeting interest he had after seeing their advertisement. Most of the things he's done in life were decided in a similar "spur of the moment" way, including going to medical school. Most likely due to his lack of research into the school itself, Chase finds himself surrounded by violent, testosterone-driven teenage criminals, the absolute worst of the worst. For a man whose life has been decidedly carefree, his time at Junpei is far too high on the 'overwhelmingly serious' scale to be considered anything but a giant cluster of stress in his life.
