On the heels of a night of partying that leads to his best friend dying from a drug overdose, Jude gets closer to new friend Eliza (Hailee Steinfeld) and his deceased friend's half-brother (Emile Hirsch), all while falling deeper into the city's burgeoning punk scene and its straight-edge fans.
