Being black is amazing and every young black girl should love the skin they are in. 'A Beautiful Black Princess' is a motivational children's book. It was written to motivate young girls of color to love themselves. Not only will the book inspire young girls, but there is also a mantra on the back. The author, Jade-Alexis, wrote this story in dedication to her younger cousins, Corinne, Tamarah, Kira, Brooklyn, Addisen, Peyton, and Harper. This is her first children's book. This book is also inspired by a poem written by Jade-Alexis called, A Beautiful Black Girl.
