Author Daryl L James, Jr's life has spanned sixteen American presidents, beginning with Calvin Coolidge in 1926. James' birth year. As he recalls his ninety one years on planet earth, he presents a very personal reflection of his awakening to his homosexuality, the traumatic high school years that followed, and his escape into the US Navy and World War 2, in 1944.
