After burying his wife and mother within a few weeks of each other, 36 year old Cole Grendahl leaves his surfer lifestyle and charter fishing business in Pawleys Island, South Carolina and moves to Montana to work on the Rambling G, his uncle's 247,000 acre cattle ranch. Cole uses his devout faith in God to rise from defeat and reclaim love in his life.
While learning the western culture, Cole becomes an advocate for hunters concerning Montana's vague laws governing public land usage within private ranches. His persistence to change the laws brings danger and personal conflicts, but ultimately helps pass legislation that would change the laws. The story awards a message of how steadfast we must be as individuals to overcome adversity; to never give up on matters of the heart in which we strongly believe.
A Time for All Seasons is set in modern day Montana. The southern-style, first person narration envelopes all about Montana that makes it a place like no other in America.
