A warrior is one who has engaged and is experienced in battle. He is a mortal man who lives as an immortal, a combination of both dust and deity. A mere whisper in a chapter of stories. A poet is gifted in the expression and perceptions of the world among him. The poet is to be true in words and heartfelt in emotion. He is the artist who paints a picture with sharpened words. A warrior-poet is to balance the cruel realities of the earth, while living by the standards of the heavens.
