This book constitutes the refereed post-proceedings of the 10th International Symposium on Advanced Parallel Processing Technologies, APPT 2013, held in Skholm, Sweden, in August 2013. The 30 revised full papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 62 submissions. The papers cover a wide range of topics capturing some of the state of the art and practice in parallel architecture, parallel software, concurrent and distributed systems, and cloud computing, with a highlight on computing systems for big data applications.
