The Alocasia 'Regal Shield" is aptly named, as its large leaves (that can grow to be two feet) do feel like they're protecting you from the elements out the window. Leaves are dark green and can appear almost black with lighter venation. As with all Alocasia plants, the leaves are toxic to pets (and children!) so please keep away from curious loved ones.
