Michael (Joel Kinnaman) and Peter (Matthias Schoenaerts) are two cousins raised together in an environment of crime and corruption. While Michael gets sucked into the oppressive system, Peter vows to break free from it due to the guilt he still feels about the untimely death of his sister.
