Doran is all but overwhelmed by the influx of refugees to town. Although it could mean busier times for his family, maybe they finally would be able to afford not to worry about money. Ulric is having to come to terms with what he truly is, and of what he will have to do. All the while living amongst the very people he knows he will soon have to harm. Clifton is on the road, desperately rushing back to his family but with an orphaned little girl in tow. But even he is in doubt if he can make it back in time.
