Exhausted from her recent case involving the demented governor of Arizona, Meg Pennington heads to Catalina Island for a little R & R. Elliott Spenser, the serial killer who has tormented her for years, is residing on death row in San Quentin. Since the stars are aligned to enjoy a few weeks off before entering the police academy, she boards the Flyer for Catalina and some serious relaxation. But when one accident after another happens, death defying moments, she wonders how that black cloud has found her again. With the welcomed help of her sisters, Meg loads her gun and heads straight into the chaos. But will it be in time?
