Angela Michaels is a wealthy, but lonely widow who after the death of her husband Malik, is forced to give up the life she once knew in Miami to start anew in Atlanta. However, she reaches a state of perplexity because the very woman accused of killing her husband, is also the woman she has fallen deeply in love with. Danielle, the accused, is sentenced to a life of imprisonment, an unfavorable fate that she has openly accepted. And although she loves and adores Angela, she is at peace with her choices and rejoices in the demise of Malik Michaels. Unfortunately, Angela doesn't share in that same self-proclaimed peace.
