Based on a true story, some of the child's experiences in this novel have been embellished purely for the purpose of entertainment. Since society has no way of overseeing the experiences of children as they grow and mature in a dysfunctional family, this story had to be written in order to educate the world about some of the horrors encountered by the weakest among us, namely children—children who are unfortunate enough to suffer the trials and tribulations rendered upon them by inadequate parents or guardians.
